Tap

Tap Dance is an excellent way of combining rhythm, style and technique for both children and adults. Metal plates are secured to the toe and heel of the dancer's shoes to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. Tap is a fun and vigorous form of dance and improves coordination and performance skills through a series of tap combinations.

Ballet

Ballet is a more structured form of Performance Dance that originated in the Italian Rennaissance courts in the 15th century. Ballet provides a firm basis for other dance disciplines and is among the most beautiful forms of expression ever devised. It is one of the most graceful and delicate styles of Dance and teaches self-discipline, control and strong technical co-ordination.

Modern

Modern is the term used to describe the more contemporary style of movement in dance and centres on the dancers own interpretation rather than the more structererd steps of Ballet. Modern focuses on devising new movements and steps and allows you to unleash your more creative side, using emotion and expression through performance. Modern is good for improving fitness and flexibility as it incorporates lots of different moves and the very latest choreography.

Musical Theatre

Our Musical Theatre class combines Dance, Drama and Singing and works specifically towards performance of some of the most popular Musicals, Films and Shows. This is a great way for children to work as a group and utilise each individual's talents in order to develop performance skills and self confidence. Musical Theatre has become one of the most popular forms of stage entertainment today.
